When connecting the IO-Link master and K3CV with a cable, use XS5W-D421-[]81-F, connectors with cables, socket and plug on both cable ends (M12 Smartclick). For more details, refer to the XS5 datasheet. This is not necessary when the IO-Link master are connected directly to the K3CV.
