Objective: |
Remote Building Automation
The company wanted quick and easy control of building services
like air conditioning, energy supplies, alarms etc., both in their
new building and also at their other existing offices. Remote
operation of the system was essential, as was interconnectivity
with external networks including the public Andalucian Government
network. Easy future expansion to other sites, and wider real-time
remote monitoring capabilities, all with full system control
possible from any of the locations also had to be assured.

Requirement:

easy real-time building monitoring and control system for all its
offices. The system should initially be run remotely from a main
central in Seville where all supervision and telemaintenance would be

location in the network. Monitoring even from PDA’s is planned for the
near future. The system should be capable of monitoring and automating
the operation of all normal building services including air
conditioning, heating, ventilation, power and other utility supplies
as well as access and alarms. Additionally the system should
effortlessly interact with the external net, particularly the
Andalucian government public network.
