FAQ No. FAQ00853
Question
Is it acceptable to use a steel tank as the
ground electrode and not use the 61F
Level
Controller’s ground electrode?
Answer
There is no problem with connecting the ground
electrode line to the tank, but in some cases the interior of the tank is
coated with an insulating coating, so be sure to check actual operation.
Do not use the tank as the ground electrode near noise sources such as
inverters, which may cause improper operation.
